As part of consulting services on subsoil use for the Ministry of Investment and Development of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Olympex Advisers provided consulting support for the development of the Code of the Republic of Kazakhstan On Subsoil and Subsoil Use (Code) in terms of regulating the sphere of solid minerals. The company’s experts studied the best international experience, in accordance with which the Concept of the Code was designed; they developed the Code and provided support in the process of agreeing the Code with interested state bodies and accredited organizations, as well as with associations of private business entities. The project team members also took part in the discussion of the draft law in the Mazhilis of the Parliament of the Republic of Kazakhstan, and in its consideration in the Senate of the Parliament of the Republic of Kazakhstan. The Code was signed by the Head of State on December 27, 2017.
