Olympex Advisers experts provided consulting services to the Ministry of Investment and Development of the Republic of Kazakhstan to develop recommendations on improving the applicable laws in the field of regulating the turnover of precious metals and precious stones.

Within the framework of this project, consulting services were provided from the development to the acceptance by both Chambers of the Parliament of the Republic of Kazakhstan of draft laws On Precious Metals and Precious Stones and On Amendments and Supplements to Certain Legislative Acts of the Republic of Kazakhstan on Precious Metals and Precious Stones.

The said draft laws form a unified legislative basis for the regulation of public relations arising in the production and circulation of precious metals and precious stones, state regulation and control over operations with precious metals and precious stones, harmonize national legislation with supranational legislation, and create conditions for the development of the mining and jewelry industries.
