The Company’s experience and image in the market of consulting services provides clients with the opportunity to receive highly qualified legal assistance on issues related to the signing of international agreements.
So, for more than 25 years after the post-Soviet countries gained independence, the issue of the division of process oil in the main oil pipelines has not been resolved. As a result, part of the process oil on the balance sheet of the Republic of Kazakhstan was located in the territory of the Russian Federation. When solving this problem, it is necessary to determine the most optimal solution, taking into account the interests of all stakeholders.
Olympex Advisers provided consulting services for the legal support of the procedure for entering into an intergovernmental agreement between the Republic of Kazakhstan and the Russian Federation on determining the status of process oil in the amount of 141,728 metric tons located in the main oil pipeline located in the territory of the Russian Federation.
As part of the procedure for entering into an intergovernmental agreement, Olympex Advisers provided the following services:
- participation in preparing the wording of the intergovernmental agreement;
- legal support of the procedure for the approval of the intergovernmental agreement by interested state bodies, including the Ministries, the Office of the Prime Minister, the Parliament of the Republic of Kazakhstan, as well as with accredited private businesses;
- passing legal and research examinations;
- coordination of the Decree of the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan on the approval of the intergovernmental agreement.
The result of the consulting services rendered is the signing of the intergovernmental agreement within the framework of the XIV Forum of Interregional Cooperation in the city of Chelyabinsk (Russian Federation).
