As part of this project, a comprehensive systematic analysis of the existing condition of the gas industry in the Republic of Kazakhstan was completed, critical problematic issues were identified, foreign experience in regulating this industry was analyzed with the identification of its positive and negative aspects, resulting in that, based on the positive experience, the corresponding recommendations and proposals were developed. The latter subsequently laid the basis of the draft Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan On Gas and Gas Supply, aimed at creating conditions for meeting the internal needs of the Republic of Kazakhstan for gas, as well as at efficient, reliable, and safe operation of gas supply system facilities.

The result of the company’s work was the adoption on December 9, 2011 of the Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan On Gas and Gas Supply.
