In this project, OLYMPEX ADVISERS provided services for the inclusion of hydrocarbon fields of a subsoil user in the List of low-profit, high-viscosity, water-logged, marginal, and depleted fields.

The experts of OLYMPEX ADVISERS developed a financial and economic model of the client’s company activities. Recommendations were prepared for the preparation of a substantiated application of a subsoil user for classifying fields with low economic indicators as low-profit in accordance with the applicable laws of the Republic of Kazakhstan. Services were provided to support the application of a subsoil user during its approval and passing mandatory examinations in interested government bodies.

The result of the work performed by OLYMPEX ADVISERS specialists was the approval of the decree of the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan on including the client’s fields in the list of fields with low economic indicators, according to which the company received a significant reduction in the tax burden on mineral extraction tax.
